Wow. There's about five tics left on the clock at the Georgia game. Auburn's on Georgia's 20, trailling 13-17. It's fourth down, so QB Kodi Burns throws on to the end zone. There's a guy there, but the Georgia defender puts his hand in front of his face, just calling for a penalty. The ball hits the ground, but a flag doesn't. Game Over, Dawgs Win. Wow.

Today the Bulldogs had trouble scoring, but really not a whole lot of trouble moving the ball. Knowshon Moreno ended the game with 189 total yards, and QB Matt Stafford threw for 215 yards and 2 TDs. The last of those two was the game winner to freshman sensation A.J. Green. Green is the guy who's making a lot of Bulldog fans say "Michael (Crabtree) Who?"

Although the offense looked pretty good, the defense really was subpar for the entire game. The Dawgs D forced only one turnover (fumble), and gave up 303 total yards (Georgia had 351). If it hadn't been for the last Auburn drive, I would have said that this was the worst that the Georgia defense played all year. Then again, the D still allowed Auburn to make a drive at the end, so I still might.

The one thing that made this game so close was penalties. Georgia had 9 Penalties for 95 yards. I heard one of the announcers talking about Coach Richt running his players for penalties. My original thought was that he needs to make them run some more, because this game wouldn't have been close if Georgia could have stopped making so many stupid mistakes. With about a minute left in the game, Georgia was in punt formation and then moved everyone around to try and force an Auburn defender to jump. A flag was thrown, and the entire Bulldogs' sideline went crazy. This was for not, as the flag was on Georgia. The Bulldogs tried every way in the world to give this game to the Auburn Tigers, but somehow Auburn couldn't take advantage.

Now one might wonder: "Could this be the last game for Tuberville in Auburn?" I'm not sure, but it certainly didn't help his case. If the Tigers miss a bowl game, I say there is a 60% chance that he's fired. Message to Tommy: Tennessee would probably be lookin' at you.

Turns out, Mr. Brad Lester, you're prediction was wrong! I hope that the Georgia Tech game isn't like the last two, or I might join a rare group of youngsters who've had 3 heart episodes on three almost consecutive Saturdays.

I completely agree! Its ridiculous how many penalties they have... Something definitely needs to change in that regard! I heard someone say if Richt doesn't give us a National Championship in the next couple of years there might be a Fulmer situation in Athens. I just couldn't believe that, but you know its true! As much as I hate to say and as much as I love Mark Richt and everything he has done for this program, its true!
