CC Sabathia- Overpaying for him but I mean it's a move they have to make consider the state of their pitching. He should sign. I don't see him turning down this money and the possible NY media attention and endorsements. Teixeria- The player they should really be going after. I doubt that they can offer the 10 year contract that Boras is looking for him. Burnett- Overpaying and a mistake. 6 years for a pitcher who couldn't stay healthy until his contract year. Good for 13-15 wins a year max. So you're basically paying a million a win. Pretty steep price, even for New York. Not the youngest of players. Lowe- A good buy low situation. But no pitcher is cheap anymore. Personally a short term deal with Lowe will pay off more than Burnett. So I like it. What do you guys all think?

I'm from Toronto and Let me tell you from personal experience... Burnett is not THAT reliable... 2 pitch pitcher... (granted... they're good pitches...) the only stat I like for Burnett is how well he pitches within the AL EAST... but still I don't know about 6 years at 15 million a year...
