After I read the USA Today piece about the money programs and the expenditures and income of the top college teams, I thought about how there was a direct relevance to a teams success, and their QB....

Surprised? Well you shouldn't be! I'm not talkin' about stats, it's all about the looks and the fit, depending on the team......

Some of these were scripted right out of the "Booster's" well laid plans.... and Hollywood..... There are exceptions (as with everything) as some teams can win with a thug-mug @ QB (Toretta @ Miami)... sorry about that U....

 Here's this years examples.

1 - Colt McCoy - Texas - My gosh, even the name is scripted. This guy was created on some ranch in Waco or Plano and rolls into town with the locks and the arm and when he walks by it even makes Bevo look down.

2 - John Parker Wilson - Bama - C'mon, this can't be real can it? This guy could be on a Soap beginning tomorrow, and don't let that country drawl fool you, kinda like his play, it'll fool you, he's got something going on there.

3 - Mark Sanchez - USC - It's like they got this off of a Baywatch sketch. He represents the best of the So Cal Hispanic community on a Pro (erghh) college team. He'd be the best except for the upstage by Mr. Rodriguez @ OSU, but that's an internal squabble.

4 - Tim Tebow - FLA - Superman? You bet, he's got the build of a middle LB, he's polite, and he's really, really nice not just for the TV, with just a touch of awkwardness that makes you want to give him a big hug.

There are other examples........ but we know why some didn't quite cut it....

Chase Daniels - Mizz - Dude you're too stocky, Harrell @ T Tech - Dude you're too skinny, Bradford - OKlahoma - Way too plain, Stafford - UGA - There's just something about your smile.

I'm certain there are some lower echelon cute QBs out there ready to burst on the scene and put their team into prominence, that Ganz guy @ Nebraska is a hottie!
