First of why, I want to announce that next week that I will have a new radio talk show on sports. It will be all sports, plus politics, entertainment, current events. Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Lacrosse, etc. I'll let you know when it comes.

But for the matter at hand. After a 20-9 season? To think that Jamie Moyer is going to play this year? If I was in his shoes, it doesn't matter if I'd rather stay with the same team for three years. Hell, sign me to the Mariners and get them out of another potential 100-loss season, I would go for the 30 wins for a couple more years. But I could understand. Moose likes the atmosphere that is the Bronx. We can't talk hall of fame now. For now, he is a borderline candidate.

As a Yankee fan looking at this offseason, if Moose is done for sure, that means the Yankees have to go extremely hard on AJ Burnett, Derek Lowe, and C.C. Sabathia. This also means that Andy Pettite MUST be signed with the Yankees, who now returning has a legitimate shot at 300 wins, and that they are positive that Joba Chamberlain is in the rotation. The Yankees are the highest bidders for C squared, but now the Dodgers want to be players and they have a benefit because they are in the West coast. But what about the Giants? They have the money, they are in the Bay Area. If they were somehow able to eat up Not so Neato's contract, maybe a rotation of Tiny Tim, C Squared, Neato, and Matt Cain would be players in the NL West.

For now, Yankee fans have to pray for an ace. And I pray Sarah Palin doesn't go Moose hunting in the Bronx.

While I loved seeing MOOSE take the mound, I can't think of a better way to go out than on one of the best years of his long illustrious career. His shoulder is starting to wear down and why drag out a career that has been great. I totally respect his move and I believe that the Yankees will end up with a great rotation next year. I think that MOOSE is a no doubt hall of famer and that people would b crazy for not voting him in. I mean it would be like saying that Barry Sanders shouldn't get into the pro-football hall of fame because he didn't break the all-time rushing yards record.

i think that he is an easy hall of famer that dosen't ow the yankees anythig and the yanks had to land those players before the moose retired.
