Wow, I know what your thinking is their any easier subject to write about? Well... no. But, it's controversial and everyone has a habit of not leaving comments and well... I'm comment-starved, so let's begin. First of all the BCS directors claim that the majority of college football fans claim to love the BCS. 1.) No one loves it (except BCS directors and their paychecks) they may think it the best way to do it, but nearly no one loves it. 2.) Look at the media coverage, if everyone loved it, as claimed, there is no one that almost EVERY SINGLE SPORTSCASTER I have listened too asks for a playoff for college football. 3.) Barack Obama even endorsed a playoff situation, I mean hey, even though not every one likes him, (a lot of people do though) HE'S THE PRESIDENT ELECT!!!!! If that's isn't in your face I don't know what is. Reasons Against Myself 1.) Yes, even though there is a LOT of media coverage about this ESPN and Fox are in a bidding war for rights to broadcast the bowls.(Didn't ESPN win?) But, when the likeliness of having a playoff is like a million to one then which would you pick? Millions of dollars, or a protest against other people getting millions of dollars from covering the major bowls? 2.) Division I-AA has a playoff why don't I watch it? I don't know good suggestion I need to start doing that. (Even though Joe Flacco is the only name I remember from last year's Deleware win.) And let's just say the BCS was the right way, who are the directors anyway? I know one of them is the Notre Dame athletic director (I have a fighting irish friend) and considering their recent sucess I don't know why he likes the bowls it's not like they'll be in a major bowl anytime soon. Or Michigan, or Duke, or... well any team on my favorite teams list... So to sum it up playoffs are good, BCS... not so much...

Let's be real here DC Sport, not too many mis-spelled words... but other than that WHAT A MESS! And dyno, by comment starved surely you meant attention starved. And no easier subject to write about? How about "Three Billy Goats Gruff" or another all time favorite "Sentence Structure For Dummies" You should study them both before you grace the world again with your wisdom.

1) I love the BCS and I have no share in it.
2) If the media really wants to change the BCS, why would ESPN get into a bidding war with Fox over the broadcasting rights. If they wanted to change it so bad they would boycott it until there is no money to be had by the BCS brass.
3) I didn't know that presidential dutis include foreign affairs, homeland security, economic stability, and College Football Commisioning.
4) What????????

The only way to change the current system is fot all the money to go away. ESPN is going to pay more from 2010 to 2014 than Fox paid from 2006 to 2010. The change is never going to happen. Get over it. If you really want a playoff in college football go watch D1-AA... come to think of it, if the BCS is so hated, why does everyone still watch these schools. Why not watch Montana, App. State, Lehigh, or Florida A&M. They have the system you want. Go there.
