I get to do something here I haven't done in a long time. That is, to give a shout-out to a guy who puts me to shame.
Even though PuckHeadEd has only been here a short time, I've taken the time to read his blogs on the Capitals. While it's true that I started this group back when I first came onboard FanNation, I've never considered myself a "professional" writer. Ed has me beat, in spades.
He's joined our little motley crew here, and hopefully he'll bring his sense of professionalism along for the ride. (Besides, it'll help me to take pointers from him. I just bring a human element to my writing here in FN; reading PuckHead's material goes a lot farther.)
I don't look at this as a competition, but instead as another voice for all you latent Caps fans to read. And as he's told me (via FanMail), he'll be doing blogs on other topics in addition to his hockey blog.
So there you have it. I've said it before, and I'll repeat it here: there are BETTER writers than me on here. You just have to know where to find them.
And people, I've found one.
(Oh, BTW, the Caps play tonight @ 10:30 Eastern when they square off against the L.A. Kings. Just in case PuckHead hasn't told you...lol)
