Arriving in San Francisco, the Dallas Cowboys were looking to get back on track. Injury ridden and under performing thus far, the Cowboys had managed a 6-4 record entering this game. But with spectacular play from Terrell Owens and efficiency from Tony Romo, Dallas would make it seven wins on the season. Romo threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns, but Owens remained the headline player. Catching seven passes for 213 yards, Owens played to his potential. But will Terrell keep performing, or was this just a one game stint? After all, their opponent was the sub-par 49ers. The answer to this question will largely decide the outcome for remainder of the season. Obviously, with the Steelers, Giants, Ravens and Eagles still to come, it will not be easy. But the way I see it, Dallas is like a college team at the beginning of their season and San Francisco was as their Division II tune up game. So, as fresh adrenaline re-enters the Cowboy's locker room I do not think they will win all remaining games, but will win the majority and get in this years playoffs.
