07:15 PM ET 11.23 | It was great to see the Cowboys getting back to winning ways against the Washington Redskins by a score of 14-10. Despite the Cowboys leaving it until the 4th quarter to score the necessary touchdown, no one expected that this game was going to be easy. The Redskins performed very well against the Cowboys the first time around, so the Cowboys knew what they were up against going into Washington. The Cowboys won the total net yards battle by 87 yards, despite committing one more turnover than their opponents. Tony Romo may have thrown for two interceptions, but he made a positive difference for the Cowboys. Marion Barber also had a solid game with a 4.75 yard/attempt average and 114 yards on the day. On a side note, I was disappointed to read about Felix Jones being out for the year; however, a torn ligament of the toe is a precarious injury for a running back, which is best to treat sooner rather than later. Currently at 6-4, the Cowboys needed this win to keep alive any chance of making the playoffs with the NFC Wild-Card. With the last four games of the season being away to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Philadelphia Eagles, while being home to the New York Giants, and Baltimore Ravens, the path is a difficult one for the Dallas Cowboys.
