...He is a top 3 saftey of all time, and a top 3 DB of this generation.
When I think of great safties, I think of Ronnie Lott, John Lynch, Ken Houston, Paul Krause, Larry Wilson, and Ed Reed. Ed Reed has consistently been one of the best, if not the best, safeties in the NFL. 37 INT, 392 tackles. Of those 37 INT's, he returned 5 for TDs. He has been the secondary leader on one of the greatest, if not the greatest, defenses ever. He has always been over shadowed by Ray Lewis until Baltimore fans noticed Ray Lewis was getting a little long in the tooth. He has 59 PD. He has been one of the best playmakers ever. Anyone who saw the Ed Reed 108 yard INT on Sunday knows that freshly.

If you hadn't already noticed, HE PLAYS LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME.

I'm a Gator and Steeler fan, but Ed Reed is one of my favorite players to wathc. Totally agree -- before it's all over, he's definitely going to be in the top 3.
