The former Arkansas coach that signed on with Ole Miss has done an excellent job this season, bringing the Rebels who went 3-9 last season, and went 0-8 in the SEC to a ranked 7-4 team, who is 4-3 in the SEC.
He has also coached Ole Miss to wins over BCS Title contender Florida in Florida, and a murder of LSU, the Rebels are starting to look like the Ole Miss of the Eli Manning days.
This isn't a long blog, but I nominate Houston Nutt for college football's coach of the year.
