ANGELS MAKE OFFER TO CC
The Angels today are said to have made an offer similar to the Yankees offer of $140 million over 6 years. From what I have heard, Sabthia has yet to have validate that rumor, heck nobody has validated that. The Angels have moved their main focus from Tex to CC, which is not good because with 2 big offers , New York could have them on their 25 man roster next season.
Personal Thought
I say that the Yankees are gonna sign Mark Teixeira because they should realize that their offense isnt gonna get any better by getting rid of 2 rbi contributors in their lineup. They may have trouble with signing CC, but they will eventually sign him.
METS CONTACT KROD,FUENTES
The Mets have FINALLY contacted the agents of two potnetial closers next season. The Mets were said to be the main contenders for KROD, but then said the rumors werent true and then proved that they werent interested by call his againt. Nice way to throught off you fans Omar, well Mr.Minya realizes that the Mets need bullpen help, so he did the right thing by calling the 2 most effective closers this offseason, the only question is... WHO GETS THE JOB???
Personal Thought
The Mets most likely are gonna sign one of the two, and it wouldnt hurt if they sign one as a bullpen guy to pitch 162 games a year in relief. I say they sign KROD, not only because he broke the record, because he could bring more fans to the stadium, but he comes at a very high price.Buyer beware.

The Yanks will probably up the price for Sabathia, he's at the top of their list. Starting pitching is their main priority (the way I see it) because that's where they suffered the most this past season. That's probably why they're not too focused on Tex right now. It'd be great for the Mets if they could sign K-Rod, hopefully he'll have another stellar season. Right now, I'm just hoping the Sox re-sign Tek.
