Well week 13 is here and for some NFL fans (Titans, Dallas, Baltimore, and Jets) Christmas comes early. For others (Miami, New England, Indy, and Green Bay) hopes on getting that new toy is still up in the air. This Thursday we will all gather around the dining room table or T.V. trays and enjoy some traditional holiday food and some football. I want to wish all a Happy and safe Thanks Giving enjoy some good eats and holiday cheere.
Tennessee 10-1 (Road: 5-0) at Detroit 0-11 (Home: 0-5)
After losing to the Jets last week the Titans were exposed and now forced to evolve something I think they are lucky to get during the regular season and not the post. The Lions are the underdogs and unlike Rocky they won't make a miraculous come back to win the game. Titans lock up the AFC South.
Seattle 2-9 (Road: 1-4) at Dallas 7-4 (Home: 4-1)
Dallas has no need to waste a wishbone wish on winning this game. They have Romo and their swagger back.
Arizona 7-4 (Road: 3-3) at Philadelphia 5-5-1 (Home: 3-2)
With a win the Cards could be come the only team to be crowned division champs. With the way McNabb preformed the last two week he might be playing for his job with the Eagles of any other team next year. Warner continues to stock pile MVP vote with a win.
Indianapolis 7-4 (Road: 4-2) at Cleveland 4-7 (Home: 1-5)
With Quinn out for the year and Anderson back at the helm the Browns are a team in transit do they stay with Anderson or go back to Quinn next year, is coach Romeo Crennel on his way out? With all this looming can the Browns beat the Colts? Manning keeps his team a live.
Baltimore 7-4 (Road: 3-3) at Cincinnati 1-9-1 (Home: 1-3-1)
With the way the Ravens D beat up the Eagles last week the Bengals don't stand a chance at winning the game but then again they did tie the eagles two weeks a go. This week there will be no tie or win, the Ravens move one win closer to a playoff birth.
Miami 6-5 (Road: 2-2) at St. Louis 2-9 (Home: 1-4)
Miami was hanging in there with the Pats last week, then they made some mistakes and the Pats did what the Dolphins did to them, they showed no mercy. This week the Rams will get to face the Fins who might I add still have a chance a slim chance, but a chance none the less at making a playoff birth. At this point they need to finish 5-0 to finish the season 11-5. Fish win.
San Francisco 3-8 (Road: 1-4) at Buffalo 6-5 (Home: 3-2)
The Bills are 6-1 against teams with losing records. The 49ers only wins have come from with in the division. The Bills like the Fins are still in position to make a playoff birth. Bills win.
Carolina 8-3 (Road: 2-3) at Green Bay 5-6 (Home: 3-2)
The Panthers dropped and important game last week with the pathetic play of Delhomme, this week the Panther can't lose another game with the Bucks, Atlanta, and now the Saints chasing them down. The Packers need a win to stay competitive, lucky for them the Panther offence is in a slump right now, the Packers pick up a win and some MoMo.
New Orleans 6-5 (Road: 1-4) at Tampa Bay 8-3 (Home: 5-0)
With an over time loss to the Saint in week one the Bucks will have revenge on their minds and nothing else. The Saint are in a must win situation to stay a live and have two division wins under their belts. The Bucks pick up a win and jump past the Panther to be the new Kings of the still close South.
NY Giants 10-1 (Road: 4-1) at Washington 7-4 (Home: 3-3)
With a loss to the Giants not only will the Skins fall behind the Cowboys their playoff hopes might be saved for next year. The fate of the Skins rests in their hand and facing the Giant who are red hot right now the Skins might be in trouble. With that said the Skins aren't the same team from week one. Giants win, but the Skins aren't done.
Atlanta 7-4 (Road: 2-3) at San Diego 4-7 (Home: 3-2)
The Charger's only chance at making the playoff this year would require Denver, The Colts, Ravens, Jets, Titans, and the Pats to go 0-5. With that so unlikely the Chargers could do one of two thing play the back up and get a good draft spot or play season spoiler. Either way the rest of the season is going to be ugly. Falcons win.
Pittsburgh 8-3 (Road: 4-1) at New England 7-4 (Home: 4-2)
This game is/was almost as exiting as the Colts game would have been if Tom Brady was not injured, some might right this game off I think that the rivalry is still there. This is a huge game in the young career of Matt Cassel with a win the team moves closer to a play off spot and lost of question about Cassel and Brady. The Steelers are playing with fate right now a loss to the Pats and they are chasing the Raves for the top spot. This is tough to say Pats win and Cassel will be highly sought after next year.
Denver 6-5 (Road: 3-2) at NY Jets 8-3 (Home: 4-1)
This will be a high scoring game with the holes in Denver's D. Favre has the ability to be an Old West gun slinger making this a one sided fire fight.
Kansas City 1-10 (Road: 0-5) at Oakland 3-8 (Home: 1-4)
Wow this game could go either way, I think the Chiefs though they only have one win walk away with this game in hand.
Chicago 6-5 (Road: 3-3) at Minnesota 6-5 (Home: 4-1)
Battle for control of the North and the Monsters of the Midway are in the drivers seat another win over the Viking could seal the deal for Da Bears. This game will more than likely produce the team to beat in the NFC Championship. Da Bears win.
Jacksonville 4-7 (Road: 3-2) at Houston 4-7 (Home: 3-2)
Two teams not living up to expatiations and for a MNF game this is a bust, though I said the same about the Cards and 49ers and I can admit that game was a thriller. So with that said the Jags will help the Texans get a top 10 pick in the draft. Jags for the sake of Del Rio's job win.
