I am not talking of a fight. No! Nothing close to the garden brawl. But you don't have to be blind to see that the team that used to be the laughing stock of the NBA is slowly but surely climbing back to respectability.
Yes when you play the Knicks you don't expect the win to come easily - teams know they have to work for it. Numbers don't lie as the Knicks are a game under 500. Given what the record was sametime last year you can easily see that this year's team has already accomplished something positive.
All the teams that owned the Knicks and beat them easily will soon get to be on the other side of the fence. The Knicks will be significantly improved and they will play a brand of basketball that reflects the spirit of the city. This is a timely warning to the so called elite teams - the Knicks are coming.
I did not receive a call from David Stern of some shady deals in the works or some chips being stacked. It is only natural that things get better because when you hit rock bottom like the Knicks have the only way left to go is up. That's just natural phenomenum. We are one team and our time for change has come :)
Don't forget where you read it first Knicks fans. See you in the playoffs!
