MVP

In the NFL Their is one award coveted above all others, excluding superbowl MVP maybe. And in my opinion This awards meaning has been lost over the last few years. Example: last year the MVP almost unnanimously, went to tom brady. I have nothing against Brady, and yes he had great stats, but he didn't deserve that award. He wasn't the most VALUABLE player. What i mean by that is that even without him the pats could have made the playoffs. They had a good running game when needed, Great Wrs, and a very good defense. Now I think it should not go to the person with the best stats but instead to the player it is meant to be for, and by that i mean it should go to a player who is relied on to carry their team.

Now the 2 front runners this year might be an exception. They have great stats, but unlike Tom Brady last year they arnt surronded by great talent. Both of their teams rely on them to carry them. Even with that my vote wouldn't go to them. Brees has carried their team, but mainly because they through is a million times. And the same with warner, but warner also has 2 great recievers who catch anything and a 3rd receiver who has very good play making skills.

So here are my 3 top MVP candidates, not in order:

Adrian peterson: I had to put him in here, Yes the vikings have a great defense, but if you have seen the vikings play, which as a packer fan i get to see that often, you'd no that he is the heart, soul, and backbone of that team. No Qb, no, Wrs, and hes keyd on every play, but he still puts up incredible numbers each year.

Calvin Johnson: ok, i know what your thinking, the lions havn't even won a game. But I did this for a few reasons. A. He put up incredible numbers and never complains about his team, Even with no QB, running game, or defense.       B. Without him the Lions might lose my even more.                                                                                                       C. I feel bad for him,  what did he do to get stuck on the lions, That right their is some badddd Karma.

Micheal Turner: He keeps pressure off Matt Ryan and Has this Falcons team in the playoff hunt. He is having a HUGE year and all this with a rookie QB and a ok o-line.
