For the second time in a month the Oklahoma Sooners were involved in one of the best, most exciting, competitive games seen in many years. It is now up to the votors & the computers (ugh) to decide who will play in the Big 12 Championship, & therefore probably the BCS National Championship Game.
OK has scored 60 points in their last 4 games. QB Sam Bradford was quite impressive, including a flying through the air attempt to score. (Think Bob Stoops & all the OK fans held their breaths on that play?).
Texas of course hopes the pollsters take in to account the Longhorns beating the Sooners, but as we all know, it's what have you done lately, & the Sooners have been the best team over the last month.
Now Oklahoma State stayed with Oklahoma most of the game, including returning a kickoff after a OK TD for their own TD, but they never took the lead, & gave up 2 points on an odd play. Going for a 2 point conversion, they fumbled & OK took it all the way back for what the ref called a "2 point TD". Huh?
Does anyone think a national championship game featuring 2 Big 12 teams would be a bad idea? I wouldn't mind it at all. I want to see a great game, not a blowout, & I really don't care if it's Texas, Oklahoma or Tech that makes it. Just as long as one of them does.
