Simply put, the game today against the N.Y. (football) Giants was one the Skins should've devoted their full attention to. Instead, the hoopla surrounding Sean Taylor's induction into the Redskins Ring of Fame seemed to affect them.
23-7 Giants, and believe me, this was one time I'm glad I stayed home to watch this game instead of getting drowned @ FedEx.
It just seemed to me, the Skins were flat-out disinterested out there. No excuse whatsoever for this...and no sense of urgency at the end. Missed opportunities abound.
So now it's off to Baltimore next Sunday night--and thank you, NFL, for moving this game from 1:00 (NOT!!!)--for what looks (on paper, anyway) to be yet another challenge for Jim Zorn and this team as the Skins try to get back into the playoff picture in the NFC.
At least after next Sunday night, the remainder of the schedule should have the Skins finishing no better than 10-6 (or 11-5, should they knock off the Ravens)...or go into the toilet. At this rate, who knows??
