The Seattle Seahawks are having a terrible season. Much of their poor form maybe due to Matt Hasselbeck's lack of playing time due to injury. The Cowboys continued their progress with a convincing win (9-34) on another capable performance by Tony Romo -- a near 65% completion to attempts ratio, 331 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. This win improved the Cowboys to 8-4. As a result of the Redskins losing to the Giants, the Cowboys are placed in a good position for the final wild-card spot, with only the Falcons as the other NFC team at 8-4. Jason Witten, TE, and Terrell Owens, WR, had strong performances with 9 receptions for 115 yards, and 5 receptions for 98 yards, respectively. The Cowboys now seem to be in control of their own fate with tough games at the Steelers, and Eagles, and home to the Giants, and Ravens. They have to win a minimum of 2 games out of the remaining 4 to stand any chance of advancing, although an 11-5 finish would most likely secure one of the two wild-card berths.
