It has been snowing all day here in Jasper, so I spent my day on the computer. Tonight as I was checking the newest College Bowl Predictions (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/bowlprojection?season=2008&week=14), I saw a story headline that literally had me jumping for joy, running around my house, and screaming. Heck, a little more and I would have been crying tears of joy. The story that had me so tickled announced that my least favorite MLB player was leaving my most favorite team. The story's headline was this: "Sources: Hampton, Astros agree to contact"
For any one who doesn't know, I HATE MIKE HAMPTON. He's been the biggest waste of money that the Atlanta Braves have ever had (well, Dan Kolb and Bob Wickman aren't too far behind). He's been hurt almost as long as I can remember. I was shocked that the Braves didn't give him a lifetime contract, seeing as how stupid they seem to be sometimes, but it looks like the Astros might have taken the saying "One man's trash" to heart. I don't know why anyone wants Mike, as he is an injury machine. I wish him the best of luck, but I doubt that will make any difference.

Mike Hampton earns that right for a lot of teams out there. I still remember his time with the Mets...unfortunately.

I am so glad to see Hampton gone from the Braves. He was nothing but a waste of time, effort, and money. Its about time he left Atlanta. Go Braves!!!!!!!!
