Lions will not win a game | giants50's Blog

The Detroit Lions have not won a game this season and it's likely they won't at all. They have star receiver Calvin Johnson but they just can't get it together this year. They have averaged less than 15 points per game scoring and their defense is terrible. They gave up 47 to the Lions on Thanksgiving Day and it's only going to get worse. This team is not looking good and the playoff chances are slim for the next decade or so but the Lions need to trade or pickup a new free agent signing to at least get a win or two next season. Right now this team needs a quarterback. They are going to get the first pick overall in the NFL Draft next season and it has to be Tim Tebow, Coly McCoy, or Graham Harrell. These guys will be the hope they need to save the franchise. They need to make a move and getting first pick in the draft is great for them. They should pick wisely on the offense because that is where they are struggling and need lots of room for improvement. The Cincinnati Bengals might get the second pick and then the St. Louis Rams. The Bengals need a new running back so they might get Noshawn Moreno because he is the best and is leading Georgia to a bowl this year. The Rams need defense but I don't know who they will get. It has to be a lineman or some defensive back but that team needs to improve as well. They have a veteran quarterback in Marc Bulger and receivers like Torry Holt. They also have Stephen Jackson at running back but they just can't score. They need defense but offense is struggling. The Bengals are all over the place. Ryan Fitzpatrick is struggling big time and while the defense is playing well, the offense can't score points. I look for these three teams to improve and become better teams by getting high picks in the draft.
