A few days ago I was watching the Knicks, Cavaliers game and I can't remember what point of the game it was but the Knicks where getting blown out and LeBron James had a fast break opportunity and went up for the dunk and New York's Al Harrington ripped LeBron out of the air in mid flight.  Then against the Pacers Danny Granger attempted to do the same thing and a small skermish broke out.  To me this type of play is unacceptable, regardless of the score!  Maybe those players guilty of this are hit with a fine along with a foul, but the fine is like giving me a fine of 50 cents for an assult charge.  There needs to be a suspension.  The player in the air is the most vulnerable player on the court, much like a quarterback, kicker, or a pitcher.  My point is simple, the penalty needs to be much greater than a couple dollars, and a couple of free throws.  The possibilities for serious injuries are far too great.  If the defender has the opportunity to wrap up the player with the ball before he jumps; there's your foul.  I don't know maybe I'm the only one that feels this way but I would hate to see any player have his season or maybe even his carreer end because of a sensless act.  Please comment on this I am curious to see what others think about this.  I understand that not everyone likes LeBron James but the topic is not on him, it's simply an example of the topic!

I agree completely. 25000 dollars is nothing to millionaires. First offense fine them 250000 dollars and suspend them for ten games without pay. Second offense fine them 500000 dollars and suspend them for 25 games without pay. Third offense fine them 1,000,000 dollars and suspend them for a season without pay. That should clean up their act. All the money can go to a charity to help kids with disabilities.

I saw the same thing happen again last night to Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic) against the Clippers!
