Lets get to it
High Riser this week- 16- (21) Miami
Pitiful Faller this week- too many teams moving down 4 spots
-(2) Boston - Well i finally moved the Lakers to #2. I think this will be back and fourth all season long.
-(1) L.A. Lakers- I had the Lakers first all season long. 5 Weeks straight they were the #1 Team, now falling to #2. This should bring serious debate to the comments thread for week 6.
-(3) Cleveland-Still looking like one of the best teams in the League. Is Mo Williams really that 2nd option that Lebron has needed all these years. 5 of the upcoming 6 games are on the road and this should test Lebron and Company.
- (4) Portland- They only lost one game on their recent road trip out east and that was to Boston on Friday night's ESPN game.
- (6) Orlando- They are headed out west on a 5 game road trip one of which being to Utah. They are pretty banged up but they are managing to win games with all the injuries. They did lose to Boston but thats kinda normal.
- (9) New Orleans- They have won 6 of the last 7 games and have moved up the rankings a little bit but they will be tested this week when they play Boston.
- (5) Denver- Lost a couple games but still a very impressive team. I wonder if they can keep the steam going all year but with Billups on board i believe they will.
-(8) San Antonio- Well this team is healthy again, maybe not 100% but they have all their studs on the floor. Lots of guys have stepped up for this team this year; Roger Mason Jr, Matt Bonner to name a couple
-(7) Houston- Well they picked up a couple of easy wins this week with the Warriors and Clippers. Should be tougher this week.
- (14) Dallas- Dirk has been raising his game. New coach has called out the team. J.J. Barea has responded and stepped up his game. He is now starting at the 2. Nba.com reports that there were chants of "MVP" in Dallas.
- (10) New Jersey- They are 7-3 on the road and have won the last 4 road games.
- (13) Atlanta- Is it wrong placing them here solely because of their record?
- (15) Phoenix- Well they beat the Jazz this week within the final minute. Close game. Amare is really stepping it up but the questions around the league are all about Amare being Happy in Phoenix.
-(12) Detroit- The Iverson trade is not working out like Joe Dumars was expecting. I guess he is out of contract at the end of this season so they can rebuild, all is not lost.
-(14) Utah- The Jazz are starting to return their players from injury. Kirilenko, Harpring, Korver, and Knight all got back on the floor this week. Williams is getting back to his playoff form as well.
- (21) Miami- How can they not move up right now. D Wade is playing the best ball since the Finals, not counting the olympics. Lots of Throwdowns are made about Dwayne every day. Congrats to the Heat since this is quite an improvement.
- (19) Chicago- It seems that the lineup Del Negro uses changes not only game to game but quarter to quarter. I see this team improving a little bit when they get it figured it out. You have to have some consitency.
- (22) Indiana- Has this team surprised anyone other than me. Taking the Celtics to Overtime and beating the Mighty Western Laker Machine. Yeah it happened!
- (18) Philadelphia- AI2 is not what he was last year. Brand is injured again but dont get too worried since he is supposed to come back this week. He is on my fantasy team but I might just trade him, he hasnt been that Big All Star PF in the East that i thought he would be.
- (16) Toronto- New Coach on a Western Road trip. They lost 3 games, but what can you expect with the new coach. O'Neal is back from injury and playing good. He is pretty solid when he is on the floor. Chris Bosh is still an MVP player though, this guy is amazing. I watched the Jazz Raps game and Bosh was very fun to watch.
- (17) New York- This team continues to impress me but its too bad that things with Stephon Marbury really take the headlines away. And another headline about free agency in 2010 is very annoying in itself.
- (20) Milwaukee -Redd is going to return so expect to see Sessions numbers drop a bit.
- (23) Charlotte- Well one of the better teams in the East on paper but not on the floor, in games, or in Larry Browns mind. When is the trade going to happen? Thats really what i keep waiting for.
- (24) Sacramento- Kevin Martin is back and putting up decent numbers, I see this team climbing the rankings in the next few weeks.
- (30) Washington- Hopefully they believe in the fairy tale of New Coach, New Beginnings...
- (25) Golden State- Currently riding a 9 game losing streak... I still believe they can turn it around.
- (28) Memphis- They have promosing rookies and young players too. Gasol, Mayo but will they bloom in Memphis or somewhere else.
- (27) L.A. Clippers- Why does it please me to place the Clippers this low. Eric Gordon is starting to light up LA though.
- (26) Minnesota- Things are not going well in Minny right now.
- (30) Oklahoma City- Things are bad, at least they have Durant in OKC.
