The Los Angeles Lakers are clearly the best team in the NBA and there is no question. The teams in the west are harder to face than the teams in the eats. In the east, you have the Magic, Celtics, Cavaliers, and the Pistons. In the western conference, you have the Lakers, Hornets, Nuggets, Spurs, Suns, and Blazers. They are much harder teams and I forgot to mention the Rockets. The Lakers have beaten all of those teams this season and the Spurs they beat last year in the playoffs to go to the NBA Finals. They weren't ready for the Finals but this year they are on pace to finish with the best mark in NBA history. They have the league MVP Kobe Bryant and one of the best big man combos with Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol. They lead the west by 3 and 1/2 games and they will be gaining as the season continues. The bench has lost Ronny Turuaf but has added Lamar Odom due to the return of Andrew Bynum and the acquisition of Pau Gasol last year. The Lakers would be better off without Vladimir Radmonovic in the lineup and Lamar Odom in it but they are still playing good ball. The Celtics have had an easy schedule this season and they are facing the easier teams to beat in the east this year. They have barely played the west this year and when they face the Lakers on Christmas Day, the Celtics will not have a merry one a Kobe Bryant and his gang will make sure of that.

Don't forget the "draw" that the Lakers get. They've had 5 wins against rubbish & the Cav's have had a harder run than both the Lakers & the Celtics.

Aw c'mon now. Lakers are good but not any better than the Celts or right now the Cavs. I would put all three teams at the top. I do think thet chemistry in the team has improved alot since last year with the additioan of Pau Gasol. That was a master stroke. I also think Kobe has matured alot. Don't count out the powers of the East though. Last year they did it to show the East can come back. This year, they may do it agin to show that last year was no fluke.
