| 09:38 PM ET  12.13 |     Today was one of the busiest Saturdays that I have encountered probably this year. This morning (around 10) I went and watched my sister's basketball game. They lost, and she had to be taken to the doctor (prognosis: fractured pinky). Then I got a ride home from my grandparents and worked on a poetry report due Monday (finished in about 30 minutes). Then I spent a little time playing Tecmo Super Bowl on the computer. Then I watched Flowery Branch play for the AAA state championship (I watched because one of my dad's friends' son is the starting center). They lost, so I had nothing to do. I decided to go to my DVR and watch some of Sergeant York, a movie about one of my distant relatives. When my sister ran me out of the living room, I went to my bedroom and saw that Gene Chizik will be the next Auburn head coach (bad hire in my mind.... the only thing Chizik did at Iowa State was change the uniforms). NOW here's the thing that has me writing this blog. It was 9 o clock, so I missed the Heisman presentation. I looked at the bottom of the screen, figuring it was either Tebow or McCoy who was the winner. NO! It was Sam Bradford of Oklahoma! Due to this, I nominate everyone who voted for Sam Bradford for the Heisman for this month's Halfass Heisman.

     I believe that the voters screwed this one up bad. I really don't feel like going into stats, but my vote would have been #1 Tim Tebow, #2 Colt McCoy, and #3 Sam Bradford. Guess I'm just a backwards kinda guy.
