So now we know that Sam Bradford has won the Heisman Trophy as a redshirt sophomore.  Next year we may have the pleasure of seeing two players aiming to get their second Heisman trophy.  A lot of the players that were regarded as Heisman contenders are still sophomores or juniors, so we will be seeing them back.  This will be an interesting race, and here are the top contenders.  Note: I'm assuming that all juniors or redshirt sophomores are returning.

30. Eric Berry/DB/Tennessee

29. Derrick Washington/RB/Missouri

28. Case Keenum/QB/Houston

27. Donald Brown/RB/UConn

26. DeMarco Murray/RB/Oklahoma

25. Jeremy Maclin/WR/Missouri

24. Josh Freeman/QB/Kansas State

23. Jahvid Best/RB/Cal

22. Zac Robinson/QB/Oklahoma State

21. Todd Reesing/QB/Kansas

20. Jacquizz Rodgers/RB/Oregon State

19. LeSean McCoy/RB/Pittsburgh

18. Glen Coffee/RB/Alabama

17. Max Hall/QB/BYU

16. Terrelle Pryor/QB/Ohio State

15. Kellen Moore/QB/Boise State

14. Mark Sanchez/QB/USC

13. Dez Bryant/WR/Oklahoma State

12. Percy Harvin/WR/Florida

11. Joe McKnight/RB/USC

10. Kendall Hunter/RB/Oklahoma State: Quietly dominated the Big XII on the ground.

9. Nate Davis/QB/Ball State: After his great year this year, Ball State will have a tougher schedule but also a great supporting cast around Davis.

8. Beanie Wells/RB/Ohio State: The Buckeyes are always getting Heisman contenders, and Wells is one of the best backs in the country.  It will help if they will win the Fiesta Bowl.

7. Knowshon Moreno/RB/Georgia: Like Stafford, he will help lead the Bulldogs back to prominence.

6. Matt Stafford/QB/Georgia: Georgia will be in for a big year next year, and if Stafford returns, he will be the reason why they can win the SEC.

5. Shonn Greene/RB/Iowa: Greene was by far the best running back in the country this season, and not even the stellar Big Ten defenses could stop him.  He will be in the national spotlight next year.

4. Michael Crabtree/WR/Texas Tech: Even without Graham Harrell, Crabtree should put up HUGE numbers in the pass-happy offense and will be on a good team.

3. Colt McCoy/QB/Texas: We all know that if he comes back, he will be trying to get revenge for being left out of the championship game.

2. Tim Tebow/QB/Florida: Even though he didn't win it this year, he's on the best team in the country and will be a favorite to win it again.

1. Sam Bradford/QB/Oklahoma: Defending winner.  He's surrounded by amazing talent.
