Sam Bradford is the 2008 Heisman Trophy winner.
He joins four other University of Oklahoma players to hoist the trophy.

9 - Number of plays Bradford gained that were 50+ yards. Ranked 1st in the nation.
13.5 - Height in inches of the Heisman Trophy.
25 - Weight in pounds of the award.
48 - Number of TDs Bradford scored this season. Ranked 1st in the nation.
50 - Number of plays that Bradford gained that were 25+ yards. Ranked 1st in the nation.
300 - Number of first-place votes that Bradford received.
309 - Number of first-place votes that Florida's Tim Tebow received. This was the first time in the history of the voting that the player with the most first-place votes finished third in the balloting. Texas' Colt McCoy finished behind Bradford in the voting, same place his Longhorns finished in the Big 12 South.
All of this is great, but Sooner fans know what happened to the last OU winner, Jason White... a loss in the National title game. Oklahoma fans know that Bradford won't let that happen again.

Colt Mccoy was cheated out of this award just like he was cheated out of the national championship game. Don't get me wrong Bradford is a heck of a QB but he isnt the playmaker of the Sooner offense like Colt was for Texas. Colt carried the offense on his back most of the season which is why he deserves it.

media and coaches but* Stoops. Might as well get used to it Longhorn
fans, I've been seeing it since 1958.
