it looks like i wasnt so crazy after all, wishing for cashman to go out and sign multiple big name free agents (Sabathia, Burnett). im glad our rotation is finally fitted with major league talent unlike last years back of the rotation horror story. (ponson, rasner etc.) I think next years rotation looks to be very impressive. same goes for the starting lineup except for a few last holes to adress......

  1. Dont trade for Mike Cameron. (why waste a young prostpect for an expensive "used" washed up outfeilder. keep melky and/or trade for someone thats actually worth getting.) (nate mcclouth)
  2. Sign TEX! (by getting texiera the yankees can finally have that excellent fielding first baseman, who also completes a lineup which underachieved last year and lost the run production of Abreu and giambie.)this move would also allow nick swisher to platoon center feild with Gardner/melky (incase a repeat of last years struggles continue)
  3. Sign one of the three pitchers Andy Pettite, Ben Sheets, Brad Penney. (each is solid, expecially as a #5 starter.)
  4. If Tex signes elsewhere sign Manny. (i understand the cost but imagine the one two punch of Manny and Arod!. plus matsui and damon are free agent after the 2009 season leaving a 2010 outfield of Manny in left, Gardner/Melky/Austin Jackson in center, and Nady/Swisher in right.(keep in mind the DH spot will also be open for Swisher or Manny)

Are you serious? Burnett is injury prone and CC is overweight...great off season additions

we wont get tex. we have to keep the position open for posada, or else what do we do sit him down. Love the guy but who know whats going to happen if we got tex and posada sacks.
