Ladies and Gentleman, I've been a life long T-wolves fan and in order to get through this (what I expect to be the Wolves worst year of the franchise), I am going to tear into the team that seems to be missing so much of what it once had. I have been one of those hopeless supporters of the franchise for too long, a season ticket holder for longer than I care to admit. I have defended McHale and company (to a degree) for several years, trying to explain away why they did what they did.

Yes it has helped me hone my bull sh*ting skills to an almost jedi level. But now I'm just going to comment on the wonderful goings on down at Target Center without trying to sugar coat it for my brain or yours.

Let's start with last night's game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers....you might be surprised but the wolves lost...by allot...93-70. In fact, the wolves started off strong (if 21 1st quarter points is what you call strong) and then proceeded to coast the rest of the game. They scored 17 in the second quarter, stepped it up to 18 for the third and then finished it off with a nice 14 total points in the 4th quarter. This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object...oh...oh its not? Sorry those BS skills are hard to turn off sometimes. What I meant to say is it's always a good idea for Rashad McCants to piss off Lebron James when he is already torching us.

Hey Rashad, did you know you're 0-8 for the game, played 17 minutes and had the same number of rebounds, turn overs and fouls (3)? Note to self man: Until you play useful basketball please don't hack, trash talk and infuriate the best player on the other team....especially when whatever you're saying to him makes him visibly mad for a second and then he starts smiling. Not a good sign.

Probably one of the more embarrassing parts to the game last night was that fact that the Cavs only needed FOUR guys to beat us. Lebron (32), Delonte West (21), Varejao (13), and an off night of 6 points by Mo Williams were enough to overcome the combine might of the entire T-wolves team. Seriously....think about that. 4 guys scored more than our entire team.

Its clear Glen Taylor and the brain trust is out of ideas. Allow me to help solve some of our problems.

First

MIKE MILLER SHOOT THE F'ING BALL!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care if you brick it, or its a really bad "not much but a prayer" type of shot that Rashad is so good at. We've all seen that really great highlight of you before the season shooting and you hit like 10 or 11 straight 3s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjKk092NupI). On this team that's more than enough proof. You get the green light!!! Stop taking only 7 shots a game. If Rashad can throw up 8 in 17 minutes what the hell are you doing for the 35 you're on the floor??!

Second

Add more plays to the play book

Listen guys, Al Jefferson is a good offensive player except it's the 25th game of the season. Other teams have tape on our one and only play. They know our template offense is to pass it into Big Al on the post...now stay with me here; this is where it gets tricky:

Have other players on the floor move around when Al has the ball. I know they want to see what he is going to do too, but they can watch tape of it later or even better get a pass from him! If other players move then their defenders have to keep an eye on them. That will help to prevent the entire defense collapsing on Al every time he has the ball.

Third and far from last, but last for now....

Principles of defense. Principles of Defense. Say it with me: PRINCIPLES OF DEFENSE.

I'm not sure who to believe Anthony Carter ("[McHale] is not a very good X's and O's coach") or 3 point specialist Mark Madsen ("I do not think [McHale] wanted this job") but just like the birds and the bees, somebody has to explain to this team how defense works.

I'm game to try, I've got puppets to use as visual aids, or I can always change my copy of "Everyone Poops" to "Everyone Defends" and see if they notice.

That is all for now....more to follow

Amen. Another problem: No talent. Hopefully whoever's the GM next year will try drafting the hyped-up, star college player, and then actually KEEP HIM. The Wolves need another star alongside Al. The roster is garbage.
