01:59 AM ET  12.24 | Although I said in some throwdowns that I didnt think the Yankees really need Teixiera but now I have realized its probable a really good thing they got him. Now with all these players it would be a horrible embarrassment not to make the playoffs. The only way they can lose their chances are through injuries so I hope Girardi makes cautious decisions throughout the game so it doesent lessen the chances of a player staying out of injury.
