I'm going to preview the NFL PLayoffs, starting with this week's great games.

RAVENS VS JAGUARS I think the Ravens will win this. The Jaguars can only be the spoiler, and they don't even look like they want to be that. The Ravens are motivated from their big win over the Cowboys last week. I think they will run all over the Jags and Joe Flacco will have maybe his best statistical game of the year. The defense will shut them down too. I say RAVENS 26, JAGUARS 10 as the Ravens clinch the final wild card AFC spot.

PATRIOTS VS BILLS I think the Patriots will put the pressure on the Jets and beat Buffalo. Matt Cassel will continue to roll and they will win a close one through their potent passing attack. They will win PATRIOTS 31, BILLS 27

JETS VS DOLPHINS I would love to see the Dolphins continue their huge turnaround and make the playoffs. How can you not? I would love for Chad Pennington to screw the Jets out of the playoffs after they screwed him and dumped him for Brett Favre. I hope that ends up costing them the postseason. But do I think the Dolphins will win? Yes. DOLPHINS 20, JETS 14

CHARGERS VS BRONCOS I would also love to see the Chargers make it after they got screwed by a terrible call that should have already clinched them the division and loosing on Week 1 on the last play. They don't look like a 7-8 team but maybe a 9-6 or a 10-5 team. Ansd the Broncos don't look like an 8-7 team but a 7-8 or even a 6-9 team. If not for Jay Cutler, maybe even 5 wins. So on Sunday night, it all gets evened out.       CHARGERS 27, BRONCOS 20

PANTHERS VS SAINTS The Panthers still have a shot at not winning the division they've been leading for a few weeks now. But if they beat the Saints, they will. And I think that two-headed monster of Stewart and Williams will kill the Saints and the Panthers win it. PANTHERS 34, SAINTS, 21

RAIDERS VS BUCCANEERS Now on paper, of course a 9 win team would beat a 4 win team. But the Raiders are on a one game winning streak and the Bucs on a three game loosing streak and free-falling. I think the Raiders will upset this aging team and eliminate them from the playoffs. RAIDERS 13, BUCCANEERS 10

GIANTS VS VIKINGS The Giants have noting, NOTHING, to play for. They clinched the top seed already, but they had nothing to play for last year when they scared the Patriots for 55 minutes in Week 17. I think they will play, but Jacobs won't. But nevertheless, a motivated and needing a win Vikings team will get that win and clinch the NFC North. VIKINGS 24, GIANTS 17

COWBOYS VS EAGLES The Eagles win this game and all else I said happens, and they clinch the final wild card spot. They were playing great up until last weel's debachle. They looked confused and dead. The Cowboys couldn't stop anyone who ran the ball last week, giving up back to back 75+ yard TDs on the ground in a loss. So what should the Eagles do? RUN, RUN, RUN! It's not that hard Andy! RUN! I they do, they will win. But trust me, they won't. McNabb and Andy Reid will feel desperate and throw the ball 40 times and that's why I predict this. COWBOYS 21, EAGLES, 10

So this is how the playoff picture will look.

AFC EAST- MIAMI   AFC NORTH- STEELERS   AFC SOUTH- COLTS   AFC WEST- CHARGERS WILD CARDS- 5) COLTS   6) RAVENS

NFC EAST- GIANTS   NFC NORTH- VIKINGS  NFC SOUTH- PANTHERS   NFC WEST-CARDINALS WILD CARDS- 5) FALCONS   6) COWBOYS

How come you left the Bears/Texans game off this? I mean they are in the playoff hunt and with your prediction of the Cowboys and Bucs losing, the Bears are a head of Philly to win the wild card seeing they have a W in the head to head match up...

Good post. Lots of good points. As a Saints fan I still have to agree that the Panthers will win (DeAngelo!). I agree Baltimore will beat Jax but 2 plus scores. Honestly don't think the Vikings will win. (Count Chicago in for that playoff spot) Plus, I think Philly makes the Dallas game much closer. 4 points.
