10:16 PM ET 12.29 | I agree with releasing Burress, unfortunately his antics this year are going to cost the G-Men the Superbowl and a chance to repeat. I have been a crazed Giants fan since I was able to understand most of the game of football. Giants fans run through my family for generations, so just know I am not some idiot blogger with an agenda like a moronic Cowboys fan. I was at the Carolina game last week and Eli is doing well without Burress, but once playoff time rolls around he is going to be sorely missed and the Giants need to make it priority number one to get a big physical receiver in the offseason. Eli should be commended this season for making due with this platoon of receivers. I hope I am wrong, I really do, but in my opinion I think Plaxico blew the season just like he almost blew off his kneecap. Thanks Plax..see ya in 2 years on the Oakland Raiders.
