It's a shame they gave this guy a 6 yr contract last season. They had warning signs... they just chose to ignore them. Yes, he'd had a few really good games in the early season, but they were just too anxious to wait for him to show his true colors. He did... only they'd already given him the bank. Romo now has a ture history of folding late in the season when it matters most. No doubt, he can win a few early in the season, and look real good doing so. But, it's very obvious this man just doesn't have the mental toughness of an Aikman to carry the team to the next level in November and December... forget January, this guy won't be playing much in this month with any team. His press conference after the Philly disaster pretty much defines his thinking. He said, "if you lose... ok, if you win... ok. I've had worse things happen to me. If this is the worst thing to happen to me in my life time, I've had a good life." Do you think this is a man driven to win??? Do you think Aikman or Staubach would EVER make a remark like this? Is the man really that dumb? Did he really say this? Yes. I watched the replay and he did. Wonder if Mr. Jones was pleased to hear his rich QB say he could basically live with a career that is average at best? It's just a shame.... to bad Dallas didn't give him a 3 yr contract. That would only mean another year or two at most. But no, they gave this unproven player a long term committment. Too bad Mr. Romo isn't giving Dallas the same!
