Not Manny Ramirez! Hanley Ramirez! Remember back then when he was in their farm system and they thought he was garbage? The Red Sox are looking to pay a steep price for talent. Talks have been stalled, but the Sox are willing to put up juicy players such as top young base snagger, fielder, and batter Jacoby Ellsbury. And former No-hit man Clay Buchholz who is ready for stardom. The Florida Marlins look unwilling to trade their star, but if cash considerations are in, this deal could go through. The Marlins are always looking for some extra cash. Then again, if this deal goes through Theo Epstein will lose tons of credibility. Even more players are said to be dealt by Boston. Maybe it is actually smarter to go for free agents because all you have to give is money. Another thing to muse about is if they do get Han-Ram, he will likely be the outfielder because they adore having young star Jed Lowrie at shortstop.

wow theres alot of publicity about this hanley deal yet the talks are said to be dead already...makes you wonder doesnt it!...larry beinfest please do not trade hanley we are in a great position to win with the team we have! where does this leave maybin if we get ellsbury?!?!
