At least one country is this world knows how to take care of its problems. For all you who may have not been reading the news in the past few days, Israel has launched massive air assaults on the Gaza Strip. The Israeli tanks are lining the boarder, just awaiting the word. Israel does not mess around, they just do a full out assault until they achieve what they set out to do and accept nothing less than unconditional surrender.

Look back at the Munich Olympics. Countries around the world helped Israel by lending forces to take down the kidnappers. It failed. Israel sent in their special opperations team. While hostages died, the Israeli special opps team took out the kidnappers. Unconditional surrender was achieved.

I feel that this time, the United Nations will not be able to stop Israel. The PLO presents a clear and present danger to the country of Israel and her citizens. Israel might finally achieve a long await goal, bring peace back to the Gaza Strip.

We all know about the support Israel has recieved from Bush since September 11th, 2001. I hope that President-elect Obama continues the United States' policy towards Israel. I just pray that Obama's plan for Middle East peace can come true without losing not just only the second powerfullest military in the world, but also a much needed ally in the Middle East for years, decades, and hopefully centuries to come.
