OK, I saw on another post where a blogger had created a ranking of the 20 Div 1A New Coaching Hires, and that's cool. Not sure I agree with all of his picks, but it's a cool post.
Anyway, my question has to do more with these coaches building their staffs, and since I am a UT Vols Fan, I start with New Head Coach Lane Kiffen . . . he hired his Dad, Monte, creator of the Tampa 2 Defense as his DC, who then went out and together they got Ed Orgeron from the New Orleans Saints as their D-Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.
Lane and Ed both coached under Pete Carrol at USC, and are old friends.
I have not heard much from the offensive side of the ball there in Big Orange Land, but what are everyone's thoughts on who is building the best staff??
Who is going to have a dramatic turn-around season next year?
