03:13 PM ET  01.02 | There is NO way USC should claim a share of the National Title. There are several reasons to support this statement.
1. Utah BEAT Oregon State.
2. USC LOST to Oregon State!
3. Alabama is currently ranked higher than USC in the BCS & AP polls and tied for 4th in the USA Today poll.
If anything...Alabama should claim a share of the title if Texas slips up against Ohio State.
Pete Carroll's cry baby antics are a pathetic desperate attempt. He would not have an issue if he was in a REAL conference! The PAC 10 is wimps. I would have loved to see Florida or Alabama "match up" against USC. BAMA & Florida would not have rolled over like Penn State did in the second quarter.
Carroll's no-class attitude is pathetic as well. A person should not run up a score just because he can. Give the other team some dignity...like LSU did with Ohio State last year.
Now we come to the final point. The Big 10 is worst than the PAC 10...and everyone knows it! The Big 10 has become a punching bag the past couple of years for REAL conferences. An example of this is the last two years when SEC teams have embarrassed Ohio State in the National Championship game. All of this being said...Who in their right mind would put a PAC 10 team above an SEC team!
