I've been thiking about this for a while, so here it goes -
Are the Chargers jinxed? I mean, they had the (arguably) most talented team in the NFL in 2006 and find a way to lose to the Pats. They have (arguably) the most talented team going into 2007 too. The thing that bothers me is that this was the case back in the 1980 and '81 seasons (for those old enough to remember) and they found ways to lose to both the Raiders (eventual Super Bowl champs) and the Bengals (lost to 49ers). EVERYONE thinks Norv Turner is a loser and, of course, that's who the Chargers hired in the offseason. Norv may have a poor head coaching record, but in fairness to Norv, I wouldn't compare the '94 Skins or the '03 Raiders to the Chargers of 2007.
Anyway - what do you think? Are the Chargers jinxed or do they have a chance to get it done in 2007? The have the talent, but do they have what it takes to finally get over the hump and bring the Lombardi trophy to San Diego?
