Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans! This kid needs to get schooled by some of the old timers or he could be the next Larry Johnson!! His comments about the Rookie of the Year award, which rightfully went to Matt Ryan remind me of Keyshawn Johnson, Terrell Owens, Larry Johnson, Deion Sanders, etc... Someone needs to reign this kids mouth in before he gives a great team a bad karma with his mouth!!
He did not even lead rookie running backs in ANY Category and was primarily a backup all year! Is he smoking crack? To think he should have won the award is simple minded and extremely selfish and loathesome.
So, he wins my Inaugural Golden Handkerchief Award this week!! Congratulations Chris!! Maybe this will help wipe up the tears because you did not even QUALIFY for Rookie of the Year honors! Play better and maybe you can make the Pro Bowl; although that is not the honor it once was, or a free left over hot dog from one of the vendors after the game. Play this as a team sport or you do not stand a chance in this league!
You have tremendous talent, but do not become one of "those" running backs! You know who I am talking about. Larry Johnson; Terrific skills, hard head, loud mouth, terrible social skills, and a HUGE disruption on and off the field. Stuck in KC because honestly no one else wants him because he is a huge liability.
You have a solid coach and a great squad around you including an incredible O Line. Do not alienate them by bringing attention to a SOLO award that you did not even come close to winning. This is a team sport. Stand out and you win all kinds of SOLO hardware, but your team is only interested in fancy RINGS. Sure they want you to do well, but not if you are going to be a crybaby when you do not win.
Win with class, lose with class! Period! You went to college, are educated, and have the ability to be a truly valued teammate and role model in this league if you choose to do so. If not, you will just be another loudmouth and minor footnote in the history of this league.
Do you think your O-Line is going to bust butt for you if you think YOU are the sole reason for gaining yards???? Think about that...
