How about those USC cheerleaders. I always look forward to seeing those hotties whenever the Trojans are playing on TV. Too bad they don't show them enough. They are definitely the hottest cheerleaders in the college realm.
Anyway, that was quite a beatdown the Trojans put on Penn State. Then once again all the talk about how the Big Ten Conference teams are an embarrassment when playing in these bowl games. Why are they continually allowed to compete only to get squashed in the process. Well simply because they bring a large crowd; and the networks, year after year, seem to hope against all hope that these teams will put on a good show.Well, I'm one of the many looking for a playoff system; but unless the sponsors can be convinced that more money will be made from playoffs than from the bowl system, it will probably never happen-- never happen.
Well, why not a playoff system. I among others have heard that age-old argument that playing extra games will only interfere with the players academics. Don't know if any of you have ever heard that argument before. I've haven't heard it in awhile, but that has been proffered for us sports fans to digest or really to bamboozle us. Teams are playing 12 to 13 games now. Utah which was supposed to be Alabama's walking mat in the Sugar Bowl, finished 13-0 with that victory. Thirteen games! Haven't heard any complaints about them losing study time, and I'm sure we all know by now that the Division IAA and Division II schools have had playoffs for decades. Anyway, if the basketball teams can have a tournament, can't understand why it can't be done in football. I'm still wondering how those college basketball players can keep up with their studies with all that traveling they have to do. Why can't you, you he-men of college football. Speak up.
Oh ne'er do well, ne'er do well. Catch ya' later.
