First and foremost, put a collar and bell on Sproles. That kid is lightning in a bottle and could DEFINITELY cause some problems for the Steelers. Now I dont mean so much on the ground, but on KR PR or any Special teams. The kid is a threat.
With LT not 100% and PROBABLY not playing I dont think that the Running game is going to get started for SD, so Ike and Shea better be ready to run their hearts out. Rivers WILL take it to the air.
With Vincent Jacksons recent DUI, Lt's "out" threat gone, the ONLY person of reasonable consideration to be worried about is Antonio Gates.
I think the Steelers WILL pull it out easily, but if they don't watch themselves. this could be a 1995 AFC Championship all over again.
Keys:
1. Collar Sproles
2. Double Cover Gates
3. Covet The Home Advantage
-Its going to be cold, its going to be loud, its going to be uninviting......Build on that and use it.
GO STEELERS!

i think another big factor is friggin pass protect Big Ben! the man is coming back from having his bell rung, it would be very mentally beneficial if he had like a brick-wall offensive pass block

I was sitting here in big bad Iraq thinking about that bull$hit AFC Championship game they blew with San Diego. If they are not careful Sproles could do something special in the final mins. But when all is done and said I see Pitt winning, hell last time I was here Pitt won the SuperBowl.

Agree
The Steelers to win needs a game without mistakes and Big Ben plays a terrific game
SD could be a big problem if takes the control of the game

From my perspective, one of our biggest issues is the pass protection factor for Ben. If we can protect him, we can open up the running game as well and keep them honest in those departments. By allowing the offense some flow, we also put time of possession in our corner and then let the defense do what the defense does. Our guys have a chemistry that is unlike any other team I can pull to the top of my head. It is not in their nature to perform as individuals looking to be superstars, but rather as important members of a much bigger unit. It is that character which gives them the edge going through the playoffs even beyond their skill and talent. If defense makes a tremendous play, offense will match it. It is the way of the team and extremely effective when moving in the right direction. One will never be outdone by the other if it can be prevented. While the Chargers are no slackers, and I mean no nastiness to their team, I believe that the Steelers possess the goods to easily prevail. That being said, just like any other football game, it will require careful ball protection, goal line efficiency, heads up secondary protection as well as solid special teams performance. I will never underestimate the opponent, such is the way of the loser. I wish our boys the best this weekend and playing at home, I know the solid trademark of Steeler fans will be there to help remind them that being a Steeler is not just a team you play for, but a lifestyle you lead. HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Bens bell ringing may catch up to him. I second the motion to unlease the beast up front on the O line and give the man time to work his magic. Lets not forget about our back up QB ... Byron with a 104 rating here ladies and gents...(just in case an LB un - loads on our hero #7) The man can handle the job....he has 6 years under his belt. He has a rocket tight pass and can run like a Deer.
We ARE on our way to the supper bowl....... lets hope the bye week was a help....and not a set back.

With Big Ben coming back from a scary Bell Ringing ..I second the motion that our Boys up front need to Give our man Protection and time to work his magic. Heck...the guy can crash his Harley and bust a jaw and still play like it was just a little scratch.
In the event our Hero Number 7 does get Knocked out again by some nasty hit...Lets not forget about our back up QB with the 104 rating for the season. Byron can run like a Deer and with his Rocket Tight pass...the man can get the job done...if need be. Its always nice to have that kind of artilary in your arsenal....... so we know where our BACK UP FORCE is...if needed.
As far as Bolt power...the only one that seems to be making any waves is Sproles...he is small , strong and quick and had a great game last week. But remeber where there is lighting there is thunder....But I think we all know who will bring the Thunder and snuff out that LITTLE SPARK SPROLES. Its time to shut em down... STEEL CURTAIN !!!!
We are on our way to the Championship...can't wait to pick up that New terrible Towel.
Let the games begin....your in our house Bolt Boys and you thought you knew what Thunder was...... Get real. You better have your ear plugs ready.
