john was born on  december 12th 1979 in  philadelphia pennsylvania. he  is 6-6 wears number 15 and is on the sacremento kings. here is why he demands your respect  though and we will start at the  beginning. he started off in philadelphia at  plymouth- whitemarsh high school. he had over 100 points there and would verbally comit to the university of miami in florida.

he would be drafted  26th overall by the spurs who as you know dont keep young guys. he was traded to the sixers his home town team before the season started but his stats were less then impresive 7 minutes a game and 2.1 ppg. he was featured in 64 games that year starting 1. next year he played in  77 games started  24 and had  5.8 ppg. he declined the next year and bounced back though in his last year in a 66ers jersey  playing every game starting 24 and averging carrer highs in  field goal and free throw % and also in points,steals,assists and rebounds. he wentt on to sacremento where he had 8 points a gamethen next year he had double digits in points[20 a game] playing 81 games and starting 41 all while getting an 81% ft % and a 47% fg % with his mpg getting up to  31.1 per game.
