WOW, I love the NBA and I love free agency. Free agency makes owners and GM's responsible for where they stick there money. No one wants a player that is over payed and he under performs, not to mention that his salary stops the team from going after other free agents.
This time of year is always a drag if your a sports fan. No NBA, no Football. It is just slow. Free agency allows me some escape from the monotony of the MLB. It is exciting to watch your team go after players.
It is a piece of heaven during the dull summer months. With some bug name players out there here is hopin that they will land with your home town team.

Summer is hard, I can't stand watching sports center with all the baseball, why not just count sheep? Sonics made a mistake by letting lewis go without getting anything in return! Would you say KG is overpaid for what he has produced for Minnesota?
