I am sick and tired of hearing about how great the Eagles are playing, and how they are last year's Giants. This is the same old story of the Gmen getting no respect. Everybody seems to forget that they are the #1 seed in the NFC. On top of that, the Giants are coming off of a much needed bye week. Analysts have become skeptical about the Giants defense putting pressure on the quarterbacks. The same could be said for the ability of opponents to create big game changing runs against the Giants run defense. The reason for this is because the Giants had played thirteen straight games, and ten of them in a row coming against teams with at least a .500 record. This is usually a recipe for disaster, especially when mixing that in with the defending super bowl champions having a huge target on their backs. Every team gives their best effort against the team that won it all last year. The Giants will use all this media hype about the Eagles as extra motivation. However, when a division rival comes to town for a playoff game, nobody needs to be pumped up. The key to this game will be a heavy dose of Brandon Jacobs, complimented by the play action to Kevin Boss and Steve Smith. Expect the Giants to put a lot of pressure on Mcnabb due to their bye week giving the front four fresh legs again. Giants 28-17 as Jacobs rushes for 2 TDs and 100 yards.
