Does it seem like the BCS games televised on FOX just don't have the same allure as they would on a station that covers college football year round? The other night while watched the Fiest Bowl it was apparent that the tone of the network broadcasting the game was reflective on how exiting the game was, there was no enthusiansm on the part of the FOX crew and who could blame them, they got assembled for one week to cover a sport that they never other wise cover. The announcers didn't seem exited either. I don't think we realize how much an enjoyable experience really comes from the network, when Keith Jackson did a game no matter if it was Sam Huston State vs Lehigh, it was going to be an enjoyable experience. From the familiar faces covering your sport and even the catchy tunes on the way to a commercial you expect that atmoshpere when you tune in. We see this often because lots of times regular seasons and post seasons are considered seperate entities in the bidding wars for Network coverage. It just seems simple if the NCAA plays its games on ABS or CBS all season than those are the networks that we want to see covering the postseason. If the NFL was on FOX or CBS than we want to see the playoffs on those stations, we don't want to have to get used to new faces right as things get intersting, I want the same crew that I depended on all year, that goes for NASCAR, MLB, NBA all of them, postseason play or your sports form of it shouldn't be sold as a seperate season, and the sports who do so ruin there ratings.
