I have a follower now. Not a stalker, but a follower.
It's a hell of a way to introduce our newest member to this group, but an introduction is needed.
As I said before, this group's name is also on a blog I write for MLBlogs.com--which is how I met werbiefitz (whose MLBlog, Julia's Rants, is fascinating reading). On my personal blog here, I related the story of how she had the discussion with her 4th grade class about team names, and whether or not they seem to be offensive.
I also told of how I was going to let everyone here in FN in on the story. I made good on my promise to her.
What I didn't expect, was werbiefitz chasing me around like a lovesick puppy joining FanNation. (So that's what it is, a strikethrough button. Oh, I'm gonna get tons of mileage out of that little sucker!!! LMMFAO) Hey, at least this is a Red Sox fan who's not on my enemies' list (ala Larry B, et.al.).
Fitz, there are so many things I need to tell you about this nest of vipers known as FanNation--or you can always find out on your own. Do NOT be afraid to FanMail me with any questions you might have.
Oh, and one other thing: here, I'm known as D.C. Sports Nut. There (meaning MLBlogs), it's go_nasty_nats. Just so you know, my darling...lol
