Well the search is over and we've got our answer as to the Broncos new headcoach, former New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.  The Broncos seem to be repeating their own history by hiring a young offensive coordinator who is considered to be sort of a "Genius", but without the mistakes by splitting the G.M. and Coaching duties.  I believe this is a brilliant move considering the young offensive talent on this team specially Q.B. Jay Cutler, B. Marshall and Clady plus Eddie Royal.  Don't get me wrong, I also was very high on Steve Spagnuolo and wanted him badly for the Broncos.  Spagnuolo would have revamped the Defense, but probably would not have been a supporter of high powered/high scoring offense.  All we need now is a brilliant G.M. such as Scott Pioli to aquire the talent that we're gonna need on defense and a new Defensive coordinator such as Tampa Bay's Raheem Morris or Minnesota's Leslie Frazier.  Great hire Mr. B. let's hope that this is only the beginning of a week filled with good news to start this New Year.

I'm excited. I certainly didn't expect this, and McDaniels wasn't the guy that I wanted, but I'm excited to see what happens. Word is Dom Capers is going to be the new Defensive Coordinator, which I think will be great. Welcome to a new era!

Dom Capers? i don't think so, we need somebody young with fresh ideas like the offensive side of the ball with McDaniels.

The other rumor is the guy from Philly. Sean McDermott is his name, I believe.

Well, Adam Schefter is reporting that Mike Nolan will be the DC. Two Bronco players say that they were told it would be Capers, but Schefter said a team source confirmed that it would be Nolan. Don't know who the two players were. Check Schefter's blog on nfl.com, and here's the link to the Rocky Mountain News story that says Capers.

thanks Big Chief, but ESPN just reported that Mike Nolan will be the Defensive Coordinator and i think this could work. We just need a good G.M. like Pioli...

I think this is a good choice and having evaluated his pre 49ers resume i think that Mike Nolan is an excellent choice for defensive coordinator, im actually pretty exited about it. Pioli a candidate for the GM job? I like that too

Piolo isn't really a candidate... he is all but signed to be the GM in KC
