What happened to the Giants yesterday at the windy Meadowlands!? Did that frigid, windy weather that they are supposed to be used to disrupt them that much. Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm not gloating or anything like that. I like Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin. Should be more coaches like him, but who in the world called for Manning to try a QB sneak for a first on that fourth-down play, especially with humongous Brandon Jacobs standing in the backfield. Looked pretty pathetic with Manning crumpled up in that scrum with Jacobs slamming into him at the same time trying to aid the cause. Oh, well, guess it wouldn't have mattered if the Giants had gotten a first down. They probably would have sqandered that opportunity as well. They just simply could not punch it in when it counted. Why in the world is Jason Carney kicking field goals when Laurence Tynes was active. Didn't Tynes kick that winning field goal in frigid Lambeau in last years NFC title game.

Yessir, give kudos to that Eagles defense. Even though they didn't stop the Giants rushing game (Giants had about 138 rushing), they surely stopped them enough as not to allow a TD. Extraordinary, I would say. Bent but did not break. Poor, hapless Manning could not overcome (maybe someone should check to see if he vacationed in Mexico during the by-week). The Eagles had him rattled all day. What else can be said about Mr. McNabb. He's the man. Again looked strong and steadfast in the pocket. Just kept chipping or pluggin' away overcoming that intentional grounding resulting in a safety and that Fred Robbins int. Oh, did someone manage to wake up Andy Reid. He always looks like he just woke up from a nap at the podium at a press conference. Can barely hear him. On the sidelines, he looks like someone planted his feet in cement.

The Cards in the NFC Championship!? Did I wake up in another world? Who woke them up in time, or did they just simply trade uniforms with last year's Giants. Fantastic. Should be quite a battle between Warner and McNabb. Two veteran playoff quarterbacks. Looking forward to it. Still have some reservations with two teams playing in a conference title having only won nine games in the regular season, but I'll get over it. Should still be fun to watch. Gleam on.

NFC Champions Arizona Cardinals.....sure a sign of the Armageddon. Pray it doesn't happen.

As a Saints fan I always imagined Armageddon was a Saints Super bowl title. Don't worry everyone. WE ARE OKAY.
