Yesterday I was wondering whether the return of Sergei Gonchar could help the Penguins getting out of this misery. Yes, I know he will not return until march but he was one of the key players last year. He made 12 G 53 A and even in the playoffs he was a reliable d-man and offensive force. Just think of the powerplay with him and Malkin on the point. The only thing I'm worried about: is he able to show this after his injury again. Let's hope he does. Another point I read here and there is the goaltending. Marc-Andre Fleury needs to get back to his form. Last year the Pens had with Ty Conklin a more than reliable back up goalie, but they don't this year, no offense to Dany Sabourin. He made good, solid games at the beginning of the injury of Fleury and that is what you can expect of him. Tonight the Pens are visiting the Flyers and if they don't want to lose contact to the playoff spots, they should win this one. It's easier said than done but they need to show that they are still alive. And just in case of losing, I think it would be the end of Michelle Therrien.
