I am a reds fan always have and always will be. so i decided since i am going to be doing a recap on all the mlb's offseason moves and preveiws for eachtema that id start with the reds.

when it comes to transactions they have been very impresive. Willy Taveras, Arthur Rhodes, Ramon Hernandez, Mike Lincoln and Micah Owings  are the biggest offseason aquisitions. i really like the taveras signing. he is fast and is a good feilder who will boucne back fro mthat low ba year. ramon is good sicne the reds have not had a good catcher in years. then the rhodes, owings and lincol nn ones are very good. i like they way rhodes plays he will be a great setup man as will be llincoln. now when i look at these moves these get them i know its risky but at least 5-8 more wins.

now for the preveiw. what can i say scouts say an nl east darkhorse and now i fianallly agree. heres there depth chart and now you will know why i am having faith in good old ohio teams. they have Ramon Hernandez,Joey Votto,Brandon Phillips,Jay Bruce, willy taveras, edison volquex.johny cueto, owings, andrancisco cordero. now the real concern coming into the offseason wasthe pitching and that would affect predictions but i really like there starters. i also like bruce and phillips the best they are my picks for all stars as well as volquez and maybe cordero.the real reason i like the reds is now they got walt jockey or whatever his face is to make them competitve . the reds are now able to get the moeny to compete since cincinati is a baseball town ready for another good yerar. it finally looks godd sicne i really like theis teams youth and a 247 team average and 187 dinggers last year. thing lookvery good and i think 84 to 86 wins is possible.
