Now that we know for sure who's going to be apart of the draft process, here's my first mock draft that really means anything...

1. DETROIT LIONS - QB MATTHEW STAFFORD, GEORGIA: They absolutely need an offensive line more than anything and I think they need to use both 1st rounders on the OL, but I would never expect Detroit(the team or the city) to do the smart thing.

2. ST. LOUIS RAMS - OT EUGENE MONROE, VIRGINA: Fun fact- This would be three of the last four drafts a Cavalier goes in the Top 5 and the second year in a row the Rams select a Cavalier in the top 5. Anyway, yeah Andre Smith, I hear you, but there is some concern about Smith's pass blocking and St. Louis NEEDS better pass blocking. Monroe is excellent in pass protection.

3. KANSAS CITY CHEIFS - DE EVERETTE BROWN, FLORIDA STATE: It's not a secret that these guys need a better pass rush.

4. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS - CB MALCOLM JENKINS, OHIO STATE: If this is a need pick, I'd say they pick Knowshon Moreno or Taylor Mays, but Mays is staying in school and it's been proven you can find a good RB in the later rounds. Plus, they need to be able to beat Arizona and there's no beating AZ if you cant stop Fitz and Boldin. Jenkins should help them with AZ's pass attack.

5. CLEVELAND BROWNS - RB KNOWSHON MORENO, GEORGIA: Believe it or not, the Browns have some talent on defense. They are young, especially in the secondary, so there's plenty of hope for improvement. They do have a hole to fill at OLB, but there's some 3-4 OLB talent in free agency this year. I say they get something they haven't had in FOREVER: a playmaker in the backfield.

6. CINCINNATI BENGALS - OT ANDRE SMITH, ALABAMA: They have a few needs, who knows what they will do with thid pick. I'm fine with giving them the best player available.

7. OAKLAND RAIDERS - WR MICHAEL CRABTREE, TEXAS TECH: The Raiders will be very lucky is Crabtree falls to them...they may have to trade up for him if they want him.

8. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS - DT TERRENCE CODY, ALABAMA: Cody is almost a clone of Marcus Stroud and Cody will do a great job of filling Stroud's old role in Jacksonville's defense. Of course, if the JAgs decide to hire a DC that installs the 3-4, this pick is horribly wrong...TBC

9. GREEN BAY PACKERS - DE TYSON JACKSON, LSU: They need a defensive end to compliment Kampman and they need help in their run defense. Tyson fixes both of those problems. Some may think this is a bit high for Jackson so maybe they trade back to get him, that is if they want him at all.

10. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS - OLB AARON CURRY, WAKE FOREST: MARK SANCHEZ is an interesting option, but I think Mike Singletary is genuinely in love with Shaun Hill to the point where its a bit scary. I wanna take Maclin off the board here, but I think Singletary is going to lobby the front office to select defense and will most likely succeed...who says no to Mike Singletary? not me...

11. BUFFALO BILLS - OT MICHAEL OHER, MISSISSIPPI: best on the board...

12. DENVER BRONCOS - DE AARON MAYBIN, PENN STATE: I'm assuming since Mike Nolan is the new DC, they will go to the 3-4 and most are projecting Maybin as a 3-4 pass rusher at OLB.

13. WASHINGTON REDSKINS - OT JASON SMITH, BAYLOR: What they pick here will depend on what they do in free agency. If they go out and get Jordan Gross from Carolina, this pick will be a DE, LB, G, or maybe even WR or DB.

14. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS - CB VONTAE DAVIS, ILLINOIS: If they get a CB like Davis along with the addition of DC Gregg Williams, the Saints might again be a top contender in the NFC.

15. HOUSTON TEXANS - OLB BRIAN CUSHING, USC: Texans are a good candidate to trade down. Brian Cushing would be a great addition. He would add to their pass rush and is excellent against the run, which is something they need greatly.

16. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS - LB REY MAUALUGA, USC: Just makes too much sense...

17. NEW YORK JETS - QB MARK SANCHEZ, USC: The idea of having three straight Trojans is fun to me, lets get this done in April. They already passed on one USC QB, will they do it again? I dont know. Sanchez has a lot of experience dealing with the media in a big market, so shouldnt be any worries there. Best case scenerio is Favre comes back, Sanchez gets a season to sit begin one of the greats and then Sanchez takes over in 2010.

18. CHICAGO BEARS - S WILLIAM MOORE, MISSOURI: seems like a good choice to me...haha

19. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS - WR JEREMY MACLIN, MISSOURI: Did I take Moore off the board so there would be back-to-back Tigers? I guess you'll never know...Anyway, Gruden will looove drawing up plays for Maclin.

20. DETROIT LIONS(from COWBOYS) - OT RUSSELL OKUNG, OKLAHOMA STATE: If they take QB with the number one, there's no way they do anything but go with OL here, it's just a matter of which offensive lineman.

21. ARIZONA CARDINALS - OG DUKE ROBINSON, OKLAHOMA: They need better un blocking. Maybe they should get Orakpo here if he's still available, but I say they work on the run game.

22. MINNESOTA VIKINGS - DE BRIAN ORAKPO, TEXAS: Best available by far...Every year one player slides in the first round, I guess it's Orakpo this year.

23. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS - LB JAMES LAURINAITIS, OHIO STATE: Probably the best play available in this scenerio and how long does Tedy Bruschi have left?

24. ATLANTA FALCONS - DE MICHAEL JOHNSON, GEORGIA TECH: Abraham is getting up there in age and Johnson will certainly be a fan favorite.

25. MIAMI DOLPHINS - CB D.J. MOORE, VANDERBILT: It wouldn't be terrible to pick a WR here or any position on defense.

26. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS - DT B.J. RAJI, BOSTON COLLEGE: They'll have their choice between a solid group of DTs. There's a slight possibility they could take another position, but this group of DTs are too good to pass up and they need one desperately. One things for sure, Polian will do the right thing.

27. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES(from PANTHERS) - TE BRANDON PETTIGREW, OKLAHOMA STATE: Word is L.J. Smith is done in Philly and I don't know if Brent Celek is the answer. Pettigrew is an excellent receiver and a good blocker.

28. NEW YORK GIANTS - WR DARRIUS HEYWARD-BEY, MARYLAND: There's a few things they could do here, but you have to assume Plax is done and Amani is all but done in NY, so you have to assume they go with a WR here and there will be some good ones to pick from: Britt, Harvey, Nicks, Iglesias, Byrd, Williams, and Cosby. Good luck with that decision.

29. PITTSBURGH STEELERS - DT PERIA JERRY, MISSISSIPPI: They could go other places with this pick, but Jerry is the best available here and Casey Hampton isn't getting any younger. Plus, Hampton is often injured and some believe Jerry could play DE in the 3-4.

30. TENNESSEE TITANS - WR PERCY HARVIN, FLORIDA: Why not?

31. BALTIMORE RAVENS - WR KENNY BRITT, RUTGERS: They probably have some bigger concerns, but Mason is getting older, Clayton is inconsistent, and giving 6'6" Joe Flacco and 6'6" receiver might end up opening up that offense.

32. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES - OT EBEN BRITTON, ARIZONA: If you haven't caught on by now, picks 31 and 32 mean I'm picking the Ravens and Eagles for the Super Bowl and for the Eagles to win. Moving on, they need OL depth and eventual replacements for Thomas and Runyan. Look for them to get PJ Hill or some other power runner in the second round.

*If your asking yourself why no McCoy or Beanie, I'll explain. I don't believe in taking a RB in the first round unless it's a rare talent. Knowshon gets a first round pick because he has great explosiveness, great vision, catches the ball well, and is ready to be a starter right away because he can block. But even with him, if I'm a GM, I'm waiting till the 3rd or 4th to even think about drafting a RB. Anyway, as we should all know by now, good RBs are easy to find these days. There's no sense in wasting a first rounder on a position you can fill in the 3rd and 4th...probably even later! With guys like Andre Brown, Kahlil Bell, Tyrell Fenroy, Rodney Ferguson, Keegan Herring, CJ Spiller, James Davis, Donald Brown, Marlon Lucky, Kory Sheets, and Antone Smith who will be available later, why waste millions drafting McCoy, Beanie, or Ringer?
