it has been one active year so far for charlotte trading jason richardson and matt carrol and ryan hollins then sighning juwan howard. i like though both trades they did they hae upsides for each one. raga bell and boris diaw are very good players boris is averging 10.7 ppg on the year and 13.8 sicne the trade. raga has 9.7 on the year and 9.8 since the trade. i think though that boris is the one who fits the styal of the bobcats the most. One of the bad things though this season is that the bobcats are last in the league in ppg with 91.4 ppg that is not nba stats thats high college stats. gherald wallace has 16.6 ppg so thats good and raymond felton has 13.5 and emeka okafor has 14 ppg so thats good but gerald is the best player by far but they need more of an offensive threat which maybe desenga diop can provide although unlikely seeing as though he is a blocks and reboudjs guy. dj augistine has 11 per but he is injured. they have a solid 20 apg by the team and they are scrappy but i just dont know about them yet. there record points to avergeness they are 16-24, 3-4 on there division and 11-12 at home and 5-12 on the road. they are 10-19 in there conferecne so thats good.
i think the thing i am looking for is hwo will they compete with the rest of the pack because the playoffs are not out of reac. i like there frontline and there bigs and there guards work but they just need that extra mile to get it done. they have met up with expectations adn are a solid team. they are only 2.5 games back of the 8 seed and the y as i statated can do it. the thing they need is gerald wallace and emeka okafor to just really push it. i really like boths game both have range expecially gerald who gets 1.8 spg and emeka gets 10 rpg. emeka is a solid player but needs to be used more ofton. he has developed. so far they have had in my mind a so-so first half.
now onto the draft portion. they need another guard so maybe brandon jennings or even ty lawson or jrue holiday. i like them landing brandon jennings who is a goodo one guard with a knakc for makign shots. he is not very smart though so he willl take time to learn. they might though get a backup sf in earl clark or dajuan summers. i like them though getting brandon jennings.
for the 2nd round i bet since they have a low pick they get someone like danny greene or kc rivers. i bet they get kc just becusehe is a solid player he works ahrd and he can hit from anywhere on the flor plus he is 6-5 so he is a g/f which really helps if you want to be and nba player.
thanks and peace to all bobcats fans. atl fans are a diffrent story
